A WOLLESCOTE man cycled from Italy to London to raise funds for a children's hospice.
Marcin Chorostowski, aged 36, pedalled 900 miles in eight days on a journey that saw him set off from Milan, conquer the Swiss Alps and travel through France, Germany, Luxembourg and Belgium.
The father-of-two was inspired to raise money for Acorn's Children's Hospice after his daughter Alicia was born in November, he said: "I'm so grateful for two happy, healthy children that I wished to help those less fortunate."
This is not the first time he has jumped in the saddle for a good cause - last year he cycled from the UK to Poland in aid of Marie Curie.
He has currently raised £1,470 for his chosen charity but hopes to reach £2,000.
