STOURBRIDGE people are being invited to lose their summer holiday weight gain by taking part in a free military fitness session in Stevens Park.

British Military Fitness (BMF), a national outdoor fitness group, is holding the free introductory session at the Wollescote park on Saturday (September 19).

Harry Sowerby, managing director of BMF, said: “BMF is all about people coming together and having fun, whilst getting fit and improving their lifestyles at the same time. We really want to motivate those shy of exercise to come down to the park and give it a go.

“We know how intimidating it can feel to return to exercise, so we wanted to create a weekend where everyone was in the same boat and could re-start their exercise regime together as a group.

“All they need to do is get themselves to the park and we will do the rest!”
