TWO Stourbridge brothers who sold cannabis grown by a Halesowen man have now been told they will not have to obey a curfew order.

Daniel Beddall, aged 31, and his 23-year-old brother George had been ordered to stay indoors between the hours of 8pm and 6am for a four-month period.

The penalty was part of their punishment after they admitted being concerned in the supply of the Class B drug.

The pair were also each given an eight-month jail term suspended for two years and ordered to carry out 120 hours unpaid work in the community.

But Wolverhampton Crown Court was told at a further hearing the curfew order would badly affect their employment.

So Recorder Richard Atkinson rescinded the curfew order and told the brothers, of Oldnall Road, they would now each be fined £500.

Scott Wheelwright, aged 28, of Stourdell Road, Halesowen, admitted producing cannabis and also supplying the controlled drug and he was jailed for a year.
