WOLLESCOTE councillors are set to trial a six month Tuesday morning surgery from next week.
It is hoped the surgery, taking place on the first Tuesday of each month between 11.30am and 12.30pm, will appeal to members of the public who cannot get to the current Friday night and Saturday slots.
Councillors will hold the six monthly surgeries, starting Tuesday November 3, at Providence Methodist Church, in Windmill Hill.
Ward councillor Gaye Partridge said: “People are more often than not asking to meet, sometimes this is because their case is complicated, or because they just want to speak to someone face to face.
“We are also finding that there is a small group of people who for one reason or another struggle when it comes to using phone based services.
“Whatever reason this is a chance to catch up with your councillor and sort out any long standing or difficult issues.”
