THE Friends of Wollescote Park are inviting users to have their say on the current state of the green space.
Led by chairman Craig Lees, members of the group want to know what local residents as well as the current park users what they would like to see and do at the park.
A public consultation is due to be held at Wollescote Hall on Wednesday, February 10, at 6.30pm.
Craig said: “We’d like to give people the opportunity to have their say on what things they would like us to invest in.
“As well as that, we would like to hear what changes we should make, what we need to protect and what facilities people would like to have.
“We need people to sow the ideas so we can then focus the group’s efforts on making this happen. We will work up the project, raise the funds, apply for grants and make it a reality.
“We need as many people to attend as possible to get the best ideas and input.
“It's a wonderful park we just want to make it even better.”
