Heart charity to host community event in Wordsley
THE British Heart Foundation is inviting people to find out more about the charity at an event in Wordsley next week.
Visitors to the Red House Glass Cone, High Street, will be able to chat to volunteers at the ‘Meet the BHF’ on Wednesday (July 16) at 11am.
Warren Appleby, the charity’s fundraising volunteer manager, said: “The event is an opportunity to find out more about our local work and to meet some of the great people who are volunteering to support us.
“These local heroes are the power behind our life-saving research.”
The event will also include refreshments and a free audio tour of the cone.
