Chairman Brian Idoine welcomed 57 members and 79 visitors to the meeting, reminding everyone of the safety and refreshment arrangements.

He then gave the following notices: a) 200 club (organised by the Wordsley Community Association): Two members of the society had won prizes which Brian handed over to the lucky winners. He then explained that £11 buys a year’s subscription, with monthly prizes, the Autumn prize being £200. He encouraged more to join in, and help raise funds for the Community Association.
