BLACK Country beer lovers will be descending on Stourbridge next weekend as The Lawnswood pub hosts a four-day cask ale festival.
The Wordsley pub, which first held an ale festival last year, will celebrate the bank holiday weekend by making twelve beers available from Friday, May 22 to Monday, May 25.
Currently, the Lawnswood Road tavern has six hand pulls on the bar, but will be doubling their ale selection with an additional six-barrel stillage for the festival.
Leah Bowen, general manager, said: “After the success of our first charity cask ale festival last year, we are looking forward to hosting another successful festival this bank holiday weekend.
“At the Lawnswood, customer preference is always a priority, and the cask ale festival is a great way of seeing what ales prove to be the most popular with the local people of Stourbridge.”
During the festival, which runs from 11.30am until midnight, customers can sample the pub’s existing offerings as well as a number of ales from local breweries such as Salopian Oracle, Sadler’s Peaky Blinder and two seasoned specials from Kinver Brewery.
