A BLACK Country author will be part of a panel of writers to offer guidance at the next Dudley borough networking morning.
The meeting offers local authors, poets and publishers the chance to meet, as well as get writing tips and advice on publishing and promotion.
Writers from across the borough are being invited to the free meeting which takes place at Dudley Library on Saturday November 21 from 10.30am until 1pm.
Wordsley wordsmith Kerry Hadley will be joined on the panel by writer and musician Liam Brown and poet, writer and editor Jane Commane.
The morning will also feature poet and short-fiction writer Roz Goddard who has been featured on Radio 3’s The Verb.
Roz also coordinates the West Midlands Readers’ Network, an organisation that works with libraries and readers’ groups, produces reading events, and commissions new work from regional writers.
Cllr Rachel Harris, cabinet member for health and wellbeing, said: “Whether you write poetry, short stories or full novels, we’d love to see you at our annual writers networking morning.
“Come along to meet other local writers and put your questions to a panel of published authors, poets and local publishers.”
For more information or to book a place at the meeting visit your local library or call 01384 815560.
