THE festive season has arrived at Wordsley's Red House Glas Cone.

Resident artists at the Camp Hill tourist attraction, collectively known as Made@the Cone, are showcasing their Christmas wares in a seasonal exhibition.

The Twas the Night Before Christmas exhibition takes inspiration from the classic Clement Clarke Moore poem and features handcrafted gift items galore including glassware, silk scarves, candles, coasters, dishes, jugs and platters, glass beaded jewellery, Christmas Decorations, fused and blown glass by Charlotte Hughes Martin, silk painting by Beverley Bernhard Bridges, Jane Ellis fused glass, lamp worked glass by Sarah Jones and painted pottery by Sarah Cannings.

The cone is also hosting a Christmas craft fayre on December 5 and 6 when visitors can meet Santa and Mrs Claus, enjoy seasonal refreshments and entertainment by clowns and magicians plus glass-making demonstrations. There'll also be a host of stalls selling items such as textiles, calendars, leather goods, Christmas wreaths,, jams and chutneys, knitted items, contemporary art and vinyl creations.

The event runs from 10am to 4pm and admission is free.
