Wordsley Gardening Club
The club held their Annual General Meeting on January 13at Wordsley Green Community Centre.
President Dave Anderson conducted election of officers and then, following the refreshment interval – thanks to Mary, Larry and Jack – the raffles were drawn. There then followed a short fun quiz.
The next meeting will be held on February 10, 7.30pm when the speaker will be Mick Poultney whose talk will be ‘A year on the vegetable plot’. On March 9 Gerry Griffiths talk is about ‘Birds of Africa’.
The Gardening club is a small friendly group meeting every second Wednesday each month at Wordsley Green Community Centre 7.30pm. Visitors will be most welcome to attend these meetings.
