WORDSLEY Amateur Dramatic Society will be marking its 200th production by bringing to life Ray Cooney’s comedy sequel – Caught in the Net.

The play will run at Kingswinford Methodist Church, in Stream Road, from Wednesday February 3 to Saturday February 6, starting 7.30pm.

A follow-up to the society’s early 2015 production Run For Your Wife, the sequel finds bigamist taxi-driver John Smith still keeping both his families happy and blissfully unaware of each other.

However, his teenage children – one girl and one boy by each wife – have met on the Internet and are determined to see each other in person, especially as its transpires that they have so much in common.

When it dawns on John that they are about to meet, he plunges into a hell-hole of his own making in order to keep them apart. The ever spiralling situation gets increasingly out of hand as John busts a gut to juggle with the truth.

Tickets, priced £7 (£6 concessions available for pensioners and full-time students under 21), are available from the box office on 01384 821943.
