YOUNGSTERS can enjoy a wide range of Juniors at Museums (JAM) club activities and crafts at Wordsley’s Red House Glass Cone this half term.

Each day from Saturday (May 27) until Sunday, June 3, children can hunt for friendly characters around the site as part of a free gnomes and fairies trail.

Children aged five and above can make their very own magical designs in glass during two bookable glass fusion sessions. These include glass gnomes on Tuesday, May 30, and fairy toadstools on Thursday, June 1.

Sessions run at 10.30am, 11.30am, 1pm and 2pm and cost £4.50 per design, but parents need to stay with their children during the session.

There is also a special fairy and gnome school family day between 10am and 3pm on Wednesday, May 31, where youngsters can drop in and take part in a range of crafts for £2.50 per child.

Plus there is a chance to make a gift for dad with a Father’s Day glass fusing session on Saturday, June 3, from 11.30am until 1.30pm, costing £2.50 per child.

The designer makers on site will be running various drop-in chargeable activities and the Red House Cone Coffee House will be open for business throughout the week.

There will be glassmaking demonstrations on Saturday (May 27) and Sunday (May 28) from 1.30pm until 3pm, Monday (May 29) to Friday, June 2, from 11am until 2.30pm and Saturday, June 3, and Sunday, June 4, from noon until 3.30pm.
