RENOWNED Black Country landscape artist Robert Perry is gearing up for a new exhibition of his sunlight themed work.

Sunlight 3 which will run at the RBSA Gallery in Birmingham from Monday October 2 to Saturday October 14 and will feature new paintings and drawings by the internationally famous artist, from Wordsley, whose latest work is inspired by the effects of light upon landscapes from across the UK.

The exhibition will showcase the latest examples of Robert's ongoing visual investigations looking directly at the sun, experimental combinations of digital print and oil painting techniques and a range of his popular gouache paintings of the Wyre Forest and mid Wales.

It will also feature a few early classics including some of his first semi-abstract landscapes and famous nightworks.

The gallery, in Brook Street, is open Monday to Saturday from 10.30am to 5pm and from 1pm to 5pm on Sunday. Admission is free.
