People are being urged to put a date in their diary ahead of the next round of community forums.

Dudley Council will be running the 10 forums from June 17 to July 2 as part of the authority’s continuing drive to create a ‘community council’.

The number of forums has been increased from nine to 10 to give more focus on areas in Halesowen.

They are an opportunity for people to raise issues and ask questions of councillors and council officers.

Councillor David Sparks, leader of Dudley Council, said:

“People have a very important role to play in how this council is run and this is their chance to speak to councillors directly. This is about bringing the council and it’s work to the community as part of our commitment to creating a community council and dealing with issues that are important to people.

“I hope people will take the time to come along and find out more.”
