EXPERTS gathered in Evesham on Saturday (Sept 13) at imaGine in Market Square, Evesham’s own Community Centre as it hosted the second Repair Cafe.

The event sees people from the Vale bring broken items in to be checked over by experts.

A great variety of items were brought along including a microwave oven, electric shaver, film projector, garden tools to be sharpened and young Joshua Meadows brought in a toy helicopter.

Local Vita Aphramor brought in her laptop, which wouldn’t play DVD’s, and went away very happy saying Pierre Vigoureux had carried out exceptional work both repairing and installing anti virus softwear to her machine.

Fran Webb, one of the organisers, said: "A wonderful atmosphere prevailed throughout the morning with many satisfied customers’ going away to see what else they could find to bring along to the next Repair Cafe which will be held on Saturday, October 11, between 10am and 2pm."
