A VINTAGE car rally is set to drive motoring enthusiasts to Sudeley Castle and Gardens this weekend.

On Sunday, September 21, between 10am and 5pm a Vintage Car Rally will take place, at which visitors will see a wide range of classic cars in a static display within the beautiful grounds of the castle.

Enthusiastic owners of vintage vehicles from across the regions are attending including members of the Cotswold Classic Car Club, Gloucestershire MG Owners Club, Jowett Car Club, Classic Mini Club Worcestershire, Austin Healey Club South West and Fairford Classic Car Club, all eager to showcase their cars at this first-time event.

Elizabeth, Lady Ashcombe, who owns and at lives at the castle, will be picking a ‘Best in Show’ car and presenting the winner with a special prize.

Entry to this event is included in general admission.

Also new for this year, the castle has opened even more of the family’s private rooms, some of which have never been open to the public before.

Entry costs £14 for adults, £13 for concessions and £5 for children over five.
