WALL Heath artists were this week putting the finishing touches to work to be featured in their annual exhibition.

Members of Wall Heath Art Club will be showcasing their work in the scout hut behind Wall Heath Community Centre, Enville Road, Wall Heath, on Saturday October 25 and Sunday October 26.

Tutor Malcolm Wesson, who will be showing off his watercolour painting talents during the exhibition, said: "This is our fourth annual exhibition and we are hoping to maintain or even top the success of the exhibition last year.

"We have in excess of 150 paintings on show and there will be coffee and cakes for the public to enjoy.

"We shall have a 'best in show' item, voted for by the public, and there will be an original watercolour painting as a prize for the raffle."

The event runs from 10am to 4pm each day and admission is free.
