MP Harriett Baldwin came face to face with a room full of superheroes when she visited a visited a Malvern primary school.

The West Worcestershire MP was invited to visit Northleigh C of E Primary School to talk about climate change and found pupils dressed up to raise money for Children in Need.

She answered questions from the youngsters and discussed renewable energy sources for Malvern.

She said: “It is great to see so many young people engaged and interested in how we make sure we cut our carbon emissions and have sustainable energy sources in the future.

“I have asked Years 5 and 6 to prepare a project or locating renewable power sources in Malvern, so they can understand the challenges and opportunities.

“The classes presented me with posters and I have offered to put some of them up in Parliament to help spread the word about how much they care.”
