TWO Marlbrook residents are holding a garden party to raise money for Parkinson’s UK.

Alan and Lynne Noakes are hosting the party in their landscaped garden at Round Hill Garden at 24 Braces Lane in Marlbrook on Wednesday, August 5.

The party will run from 11am to 4pm with free entry to the garden. People will be able to enjoy tea and cake, and cream teas. Lunchtime will also see hot pork baps on offer with all the trimmings, and there will be various craft stalls, book sales, plant sales, a children’s quiz, tombola and a raffle, all raising money for the charity.

Sarah Wakeman at Parkinson’s UK, said: “Alan and Lynn really do have a beautiful garden and I would encourage anyone interested in gardening to come and view it and participate in the garden party.

“Our work is totally dependent on donations, and it is because of supporters like Alan and Lynn raising money that we can continue our work to find a cure and improve the quality of life for people affected by Parkinson’s.”
