A TEAM from Ross-on-Wye fire station will be competing in the annual UKRO National Challenge.
They won their place in the competition after showing off their skills at the UKRO Extrication Challenge.
Duo Jim Clarke and Jayne Collins also won a place after winning the UKRO Trauma Challenge.
They will be joined by fire services from all over the country that will also be showcasing their rescue skills in a range of challenging scenarios.
The opening ceremony will take place on the evening of Thursday, July 30 and will be followed by the various challenges on the Friday and Saturday. The event will finish with a closing ceremony and evening entertainment on the Saturday night.
Earlier in the year, the Ross team also represented the UK in the international competition, Intershutz, which took place in Hanover, Germany.
They came in 11th place out of 29 who competed.
