POLICE have confirmed that a helicopter spotted over the Chawson area of Droitwich yesterday evening, was taking part in a search for a missing boy.
Police were called out to search for the teenage boy, who has been classed as a missing person, after concerns were expressed for his safety.
A dog unit attended the scene at approximately 5.50pm on Thursday, August 27, with a police helicopter called out to provide aerial support.
Enquiries are still ongoing to locate the boy, but police are yet to issue any further information, or request help from the public.
