Parents with children in nursery at Oasis Academy Warndon enjoyed forest school
NURSERY children at Oasis Academy Warndon have invited their parents to see how they enjoy forest school.
Parents experienced what the children do in their weekly forest school sessions, got their hands dirty helping out and were able to toast some marshmallows over the fire as a reward.
Forest school is thought to encourage and inspire children through an innovative, long term, educational approach to outdoor play and learning in a woodland environment.
Mrs Newman, the nursery manager, said: "It was a really successful visit and the parents were really positive about what their children were learning whilst here."
