THIS year's Ledbury Celebration, of food, drink, poetry and music, will feature 25 local food and drink producers as well as live music and poetry throughout the day.

The event will takes place on Sunday July 10 on Bye Street Car Park and Orme and Slade Car Park, Ledbury from 11am to 6pm.

Spokesman, Griff Holliday said: "You will be able to savour a range of fresh hot and cold local food to eat while enjoying the event’s special atmosphere.

Poets and musicians set to entertain us through the day include Clare Bold, Nico Reznick, Steve Pottinger, Rob Barrett, Dan James, Fiddlers Two, Short Stuff, and A Month of Sundays."

He added: "There will be plenty of food to choose from to take home to enjoy later including cheese, preserves and chutneys, local fruit, breads and cakes, coffee, fudge and smoked nuts and seeds.

"The event also welcomes back the Fetch Theatre Company’s Clapper Box, a puppet event featuring small-scale theatre booths, a lot of random objects and wonderfully written quirky adaptations of classic movies, which was such a hit last year."

The Celebration is a joint venture between Ledbury Food Group and Ledbury Poetry Festival, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.

The event is also supported by local businesses and Ledbury Town Council.
