FIREFIGHTERS tackled an out-of-control campfire in Waseley Hills in Rubery, after it was left unattended in the woods.
Emergency services were alerted to the blaze, which had been started in the middle of several large logs, at 8.16pm on Thursday, July 21.
A passerby photographed the blaze, tweeting: "Some idiots thought it was a good idea to start a fire in the woods..."
A fire crew from Bromsgrove rushed to the scene and used back packs and drag hooks to extinguish the fire.
