A TRIO of robbers dragged a man from a car and assaulted him before making off with the vehicle during a violent attack in Headless Cross.

The victim, who is in his 20s and was sitting in the passenger seat, sustained some injuries to his face.

West Mercia Police is appealing for witnesses to the incident in Charles Street last Tuesday, November 29, at about 7.45pm.

One of the men was described as white, aged about 18 to 19, between 5 foot 8 to 5 foot 9 tall, of skinny build with short brown hair. He was wearing all black clothing.

The second man was described as white, aged about 18, and of the same height, of average build also with short brown hair. No detailed description was given of the third man.

Police are urging anyone who may have been in the area at the time, and who may have witnessed the incident to contact them by calling 101.

They are also urging anyone who may have seen the car, a silver Renault Clio Expression, five door saloon with the registration number PJ51XBT, since the incident to report it to the police.
