A CHRISTMAS card designed by a Black Country schoolgirl will be finding its way through the letterboxes of hundreds of people across the country, including the Queen.

Charleigh Finch, of Bramford Primary School in Coseley, won Dudley North MP Ian Austin’s parliamentary Christmas card competition.

The winning design, which was picked out of hundreds of entries, shows a Christmas scene with Santa flying over Dudley Castle.

The cards have been professionally printed in full colour and include the name and school of the winner and three runners up.

Mr Austin thanked everyone who had taken part and added: “Yet again, the standard of this year’s entrants has been really high.

"I loved Charleigh's design of a local Christmas scene with Dudley Castle."
