MOWERS, power tools and other items were stolen in a series of raids around Alfrick overnight between Thursday and Friday.
A garage in the village was broken into between 11.30pm and 7am, and a red Honda lawn tractor, a Honda lawn mower, an orange Stihl Combi Tool with attachments, an orange Husqvarna chainsaw and a green and black Hitachi mitre saw, were stolen, along with two containers of petrol, one five-litre and the other ten-litre.
A disturbance was heard in the area at around 3am.
An outbuilding at Yarrington Road had its lock broken off between 11.30pm and 5.30am, and a brand-new Honda mower, a Stihl combi bush cutter, a set of tines, a hedge trimmer, a chainsaw, an air compressor and other tools were stolen.
And between 10pm and 8.30am, a large outbuilding had its padlocks cut off, and a lawnmower, a Rotavator and a blue two-wheeled trailer were stolen.
The incident numbers are 117s/210717, 126s/210717 and 365s/210717 respectively.
