POLICE were "threatened with a sword" after going to a home in Worcester in the early hours of Sunday morning.
South Worcs Cops tweeted to say a man had been arrested after officers were threatened.
The tweet said: "Team C #Worcester back on patrol after a very busy Saturday night.
"Male arrested for threatening officers with sword has today been charged."
A spokesman for West Mercia Police said police were called to reports of a domestic incident at a property on Wells Road, Ronkswood, in the early hours of Sunday morning.
They said they were unable to give out any further information about what had happened at this stage.
*Ricky Johnson, aged 25, from Shap Drive in Worcester, was charged with affray in relation to this incident and is due to appear at Worcester Magistrates Court on Thursday, September 21.
