TWO teachers of the Alexander Technique are holding an event at All Saints Church in Hereford.

As part of International Alexander Awareness week, Ann Rowan and Philippa Morrell, are organising a "lie-in" on October 13 between 12pm and 2pm.

The public are invited to experience the positive effects of lying down on the floor for 10 minutes.

Ann said: "The semi-supine position, also known as active rest, is the best way to restore and reconnect the body and mind.

"It can realign your spine, stop you feeling overwhelmed, and allow time to focus on yourself to quieten the mind and process emotions."

The Alexander Technique is a skill for self-development teaching you to change long-standing habits that cause unnecessary tension in everything you do.

Mats and head supports will be provided. For further information call Ann on 07586460434 or Philippa on 079490810088.
