A FAMILY friendly coffee shop has opened in Evesham.

Babyccino Coffee has opened in Merstow Green and has includes a play area for parents to put their children whilst they enjoy a drink or some food.

Zuzana Malovcova and James Waple, co-owners said: "We fell in love Evesham and its historic past, the abbey, the architecture, the lovely town and parks.

"We used to visit friends here, travelling from Birmingham, but struggled finding somewhere that we could take our very active two year old son for lunch or coffee, as there was no way he would sit still so that we could enjoy a coffee or eat in relative peace.

"This was a problem for us no matter the town.

"We thought to ourselves, wouldn't it be great to find a place that he could play and we could relax and enjoy some adult time, great coffee, great food. "We thought, let's take our combined knowledge and experience in restaurant business of over 30 years and do it ourselves.

"Everything that we dreamed of in a coffee shop, brought to life.

"Great coffee, homemade food, reasonable prices, and genuinely family friendly.

"As we loved Evesham, we checked out the schools for our son, great. Sold our house, moved to Evesham, and put everything into bringing our dream alive.

"We moved in April this year, and opened in the old working man's club on October 3.

"Although we are very family friendly, it's not a play area that serves Coffee, we are very much an adult coffee shop, that caters to the needs of all our community, both old and young.

"Our shop has for example, a relax room where you can be without children playing around you, disabled toilet, adult toilet, and toddler toilet.

"Free wifi and loads of plug sockets, artisan coffee, hand roasted in Stratford on Avon, homemade cakes and food, gluten free options, and vegan options.

"We also open 7 days a week, when most of the independent places in Evesham Close on the Sunday."
