WHATS ON OCTOBER HALF TERM KIDS SPECIAL

Until Sunday 29th October – Spooky Spectacular at West Midlands Safari Park.

As well as entrance into our 4-mile Drive-Through Safari, Interactive Discovery Trail, Land of the Living Dinosaurs, African Village and Lemur Woods, join us for witches, ghosts and eerie tales in our Spooky Spectacular event! Opening hours have been extended until 9pm on weekends and half term.

Until Friday 27th -'Mini Ninja Sushi School’

YO!, the Japanese street food and sushi restaurant, is bringing back its 'Mini Ninja Sushi School’ this October half term due to its success over the summer for an hour from 11am, at just £15 per child! The little ones will have the chance to create three delicious recipes, with the helping hand of a YO! chef. At the end of each class, students will be rewarded with a certificate, chef’s hat and crayons, in a very special YO! bag.

Thursday 19th – Sunday 29th – Halloween Land, Cotswold Farm Park.

There will be cauldrons of spooky fun to be had in our Halloween Land area! Pick and carve your own pumpkin, from our pumpkin patch*. Choose which fearsome face painting design you would like, tiptoe through the spooky woodland trail and get crafty in our Witches and Wizards Workshop. Will you get lost in our family-friendly spooky scarecrow Maize Maze? There's a mini maze for little ones too!

All included in the price of admission to the Cotswold Farm Park.

* One pumpkin per person. Open : 10:30am to 5:00pm

Monday 23rd - Halloweek at Sudeley Castle

A week devoted to everything batty! Besides the castle's Cotswold Craft Room which will be a hive of activity, creating batty crafts, a bat trail throughout the gardens and their annual ghost tours will be available. Plus, on Wednesday 23rd October, BATMAN will be making an appearance in his iconic 1989 Batmobile - Wowzers!

Monday 23rd Friday 27th – Half term Halloween at Avon Croft museum.

Creep down to Avoncroft this half term for spook-tacular fun! Get into your spookiest costume and fly down to Avoncroft in to create creepy crafts, carve pumpkins and make your own witch or wizards broomstick! Complete your scary outfit by getting your face painted too! Brave the Halloween trail around the the extra spooky museum grounds – do you have what it takes to find all the clues? Mwahahaha!

Normal museum admission applies, please note that some of the activities on site may have an additional charge.

Football Fun Camps will be once again hosting Football and Multi Sports Camps for the October Half Term Holidays. We’ve got fun Sports including: Football, Tag Rugby, Dodgeball, Cricket, Gaga Ball as well as Exciting Themed Days, Coaches vs Children Challenges and much more...

Families are welcomed to dine in the restaurant from 5pm-6pm for delicious Halloween themed treats. Welly Walking Tour - Pull on those wellies and explore the hotel's 163-acre estate, including the 500-year-old oak tree. The hotel has lots of wellies available!

Monday 23rd – Saturday 28th – Half term Pumpkin Trailer Tours – Top Barn Farm Park, Holt Heath.

There’s loads to do until then though including…Bug-hunting, Frizbee golf, Climbing wall, Peddle tractors, Open spaces and play areas, Lots of animals!

Tuesday 24th – Tuesday 31st - Historical Hauntings at The Commandery.

This Halloween half-term brave visitors can hear spine-tingling tales of creepy characters from The Commandery’s colourful 1000 year history, go on gruesome ghost hunts, and enjoy scary scavenger trails.

Tuesday 24th – Sunday 29th and Tuesday 31st - Spooky scavenger hunt at the Commandery.

Collect your clue sheet from the Commandery shop. (Suitable for the under 5s), Haunted selfie sitting room

Uncover stories of creepy characters that have been spotted in this 1000 year old building, which has a bloody past, while exploring its many nooks and crannies.

Suitable for adults and ages 11+ (children must be accompanied by an adult)

October KIDS GO FREE* into the Arboretum everyday Extended opening hours 10am-9pm.This halloween we’ve got lots of spooky family fun planned. Your little one can explore the Arboretum, searching high and low for clues on our Ghoulish Graveyard Trail! The trail costs £2 and includes a prize. Enjoy Bug Hunts, Campfire Stories & Songs, Cooking, Crafts and more!

Tuesday 24th – Friday 27th - Hartlebury Halloween at Worcester County Museum.

Four fun family days of Autumn and Halloween themed craft activities. You can also carve a pumpkin for your Halloween celebrations. An additional charge of £2 per child applies for the day's activities, plus a small charge for your pumpkin. Adults £5, Conc & Children £2.50, Family ticket £13 & under fives free.

Wednesday 25th – Sunday 29th Spooky Halloween Trail at Spetchley Park Gardens.

Follow the spooky trail around 30 acres of beautiful gardens, solve the puzzle, and collect your treat. Usual adult admission charges apply, FREE entry for children, trail costs £1.

Wednesday 25th – Thursday 26th – Family friendly tours at Harvington Hall.

Visit Harvington Hall to discover its wonky floors and secret hiding places! Find out how the Tudors lived and why it was dangerous to be a Catholic in the late 1500s. Times : 12:30 to 16:30

Friday 27th - Sunday 29th - Torch Lit Pumpkin Walk at Bodenham Arboretum.

Follow the pumpkins around the Big Pool and look for those with letters carved into them to unscramble to make the Halloween word. Join in the fun and get involved in apple bobbing, spooky story telling, toasting marshmallows, Halloween crafts and bring your very own carved pumpkin so it can be judged for your chance to win a prize. homemade pumpkin soup and jacket potatoes with a selection of fillings will be served throughout the evenings for you to purchase along with refreshments. Ticket Only Event! Time:17:00 to 19:30

Saturday 28th - GWR Halloween Steam & Scream Special.

Experience Halloween on the spooky steam train, at Cheltenham Racecourse. Come dressed for the occasion, normal tickets apply.
