AVONCROFT Museum is celebrating Christmas the traditional way, with choir singers, festive foods and a handmade craft fair.
The site has already been decorated with fairy lights, ready for the launch of Avoncroft's Christmas programme next month, featuring costumed re-enactors, Morris dancing, a Punch and Judy show and fire jugglers.
A craft fair will be held in the Guesten Hall selling local produce and handmade items, while the museum shop will be stocked with unique gifts.
For younger visitors, the museum will be putting on a reindeer trail, Santa Express train rides and visits with Father Christmas.
There will also be seasonal treats to enjoy at stalls throughout the site, selling mulled wine, cider, roast chestnuts, Christmas casserole, hog roast, mince pies and Prosecco.
Avoncroft's 'Candlelit Christmas' takes place on Saturday, December 2 from 7pm to 10pm. Entry costs £8 for adults and £5 for children.
Pre-booking is essential through the museum shop on 01527 831363 or online at avoncroft.org.uk.
