A VINTAGE jazz band best known for playing the pubs of Ludlow and Tenbury has been entertaining during the Fringe Festival.
The Vintage Jazz Revival Band has been playing some free gigs during the Fringe.
It is based at the Rose and Crown and normally play in the bar every Tuesday from 8:45pm to 10:00pm to a good crowd of enthusiastic followers. However, for the rest of June we will be playing there from 8:00pm onwards, hopefully drawing in more visitors from the Fringe.
The band plays ‘happy foot tapping Trad: Jazz’ with a few blues thrown in as well. It is well known in this area for playing at all types of functions including the Ludlow Green Festival, Shrewsbury Food Festival, Croft Castle Home Front Weekends, Shelsley Walsh Vintage Weekends, Tenbury Show as well as many private functions.
