A FREE festival will take place within the beautiful grounds of luxury retirement village in Great Alne.

Inspired Villages will host the inaugural Parkfest on Saturday, July 21, to mark the launch of the new clubhouse at Great Alne Park, near Alcester.

The event will run from 2pm to 9pm and will be headlined by the 40-piece Amadeus Symphony Orchestra.

Among the highlights will be a performance by 4 Poofs and a Piano, the famous house-band from the BBC chat show Friday Night with Jonathan Ross.

Other entertainment will include the Warwickshire Youth Jazz Orchestra, plus award-winning food and drink stands from the region.

Jamie Bunce, CEO of Inspired Villages Group, said: “Great Alne Park is the perfect setting for an outdoor celebration.

“Parkfest promises a day of music, laughter, glorious food and fun. It will mark the opening of our impressive clubhouse, which is sure to be a popular facility among our residents, giving them further opportunities to make the most of their retirement.”

Tickets for Parkfest are limited but anyone who would like to attend the exclusive open-air event can snap up their place in an online ballot.

The ballot closes on July 11 and winners will be contacted on July 13.
