TWO Olympians paid a visit to Hagley Primary School to inspire the next generation of sporting stars.
Worcestershire's own Amy Smith, a swimmer from Kidderminster, joined with track and field athlete Mark Dry to share stories of their careers.
The duo also ran group sessions for the children, and spoke positively about perseverance and the importance of exercise.
PE co-ordinator James Ayers said: "The children loved it."
Year 5 student Tamsin White added: “I found it really inspiring, I want to be an athlete in the future.”
Another, Year 3 student Martha Twamley, added: “I loved asking questions and the sessions were so much fun. It makes me want to do sports more."
The school's focus on sports education saw them win 'Sports School of the Year’ at the annual Herefordshire and Worcestershire Sports Awards in 2017.
