A MOTORCYCLIST has been rushed to hospital after a crash.
The rider, a man in his 50s, was treated for a leg injury and cuts to his arm and knee.
He collided with a car on the A449, near the roundabout connecting with Claines Lane, in Worcester, earlier today.
An ambulance was sent to the scene and paramedics took the patient to Worcestershire Royal Hospital, arriving at 3.18pm.
West Midlands Ambulance service received a call about the crash at 2.10pm today.
Police officers also responded to the incident at 2.15pm and closed off a lane, although it was reopened by 3.30pm.
A West Mercia Police spokesman said: "The road was closed for a short time to allow emergency services to deal with the collision, it has since reopened."
