FLAGS were proudly flying at a Kidderminster primary school as youngsters celebrated St George’s Day.
The aptly-named St George’s C of E Primary School saw nursery and reception children don red and white clothes and take part in activities to mark the occasion yesterday (April 23).
During the day the children came together to create a large flag of England and created a huge dragon in the outdoor area.
The children also read the story of St George and the Dragon and have been writing their favourite part in their books.
Chair of Governors Councillor Shazu Miah said “The children had a really good time which was down to the hard work of the teachers.
“There was also really good support from the parents who provided all the cardboard to make the giant dragon.”
