ASPIRING young musicians can find out about an exciting opportunity to showcase their talent at an open day.
MAS Records with Serious Studios will host an open day on July 8 at the Swan, Stourport, to talk about a government-funded scheme where 16 to 18-year-old artists can get free weekly rehearsal time and the chance to record their own music in a top of the line studio.
Visitors will be able to view the studios and MAS records will be there to talk to children and parents from 2pm to 5pm.
Bands currently involved in the scheme will be performing on the day, and food will be served at the event.
Children who play any musical style, in bands or perform as solo artists, are encouraged to attend and find out more.
MAS Records also has famous rock singer Robert Plant from Led Zeppelin as their patron.
The event begins at 12pm and will end around 6pm.
