FIRE crews from Kidderminster and Bewdley have had a busy weekend with a number of fires in the open.
Firefighters from Kidderminster were called out a number of times yesterday and today, including fires in open land, trees, an out of control bonfire and several incidents at the historic Severn Valley Railway.
Earlier today (Sunday) crews were called to tackle a fire on the embankment.
They were called back several times to a number of separate incidents on further sections of embankment.
Trains were put on caution and had to be slowed down while firefighters were working near the train track.
