BEWDLEY Brewery bosses raised a toast in celebration after one of their ales was named the best in the district.
The Decennium ale was named the best ‘Locale’ at Wyre Forest CAMRA’s annual Beer and Cider Festival for 2018.
The strong 10 per cent ale was developed to celebrate Bewdley Brewery’s 10th anniversary year.
Around 750 visitors voted it their favourite out of the 12 ‘locales’ featured in the festival, after being impressed with deep copper coloured barley wine-like brew.
Members of Wyre Forest CAMRA joined representatives from the company at the Brewery’s newly extended Tap Room to present the award.
