Budding borough filmmakers can enter a competition to win up to £30,000 to spend on their next short production.
Virgin Media is running the competition to find the borough's answer to Steven Speilberg with the winning film being shown on Virgin 1.
Budding filmmakers in Dudley can enter with the chance of winning an opportunity to work with Virgin Media and the UK Film Council on their their next short film.
Local film makers of all ages and backgrounds can submit their shorts for a chance to win the grand prize later this year.
Films, which must be a maximum of two and a half minutes long and suitable viewing for cinema goers, will be reviewed and short listed to just 12 films by a prestigious judging panel.
