| Richard Guest with an Israeli Koi Carp |
FISH fans in Kinver have nothing to carp about after the arrival of two thousand Koi at a nearby petstore.
Prestwood Petzone, on Wolverhampton Road, which is one of the UK's largest centres for aquatic supplies, has taken delivery of the fish from Israel after a visit to the middle eastern country by managing director Richard Guest.
Richard makes regular visits to the north of Israel to select high quality ornamental fish from a region which has an ideal climate of long hot summers, providing ideal growing conditions for carp.
The prize pets, which measure between four and 26 inches and can sell for up to £450, spent several weeks in quarantine tanks at the store to acclimatise after their journey to the UK.
