Friends gather for park painting

FRIENDS of Mary Stevens Park in Stourbridge are getting together to spruce up shabby railings around the park pool.

Members of the group are gathering on Saturday May 17 to paint the fence around the pool in the popular green space.

Councillor Mike Attwood, from the Friends group, says although some work has been done there is still plenty to do and anyone wishing to help is very welcome.

Painting will start at 11am, weather permitting, anyone wishing to take part is asked to report to Cllr Attwood on the day, all equipment and paint will be provided.
