CHAIRMAN Jean Corns welcomed members and visitors to the March meeting held at The Kingfisher, Wall Heath. She welcomed as our speakers for the afternoon three young ladies from Boots, the chemists, Merry Hill, who spoke and demonstrated No.7 Skin Care. Mrs Joyce Amos, a member, was chosen as a model. Members were instructed how to apply No 7 products to the face. The vote of thanks was proposed by Joyce Amos.

PRESIDENT Jean Green welcomed members and guests to the March meeting. The minutes of the 438th meeting in February were read by Anne Dunsby and approved. Members were delighted to see the final result of the terracotta bowl that had been produced at the January meeting courtesy of John & Annette Christophers from Albrighton Pottery.This large bowl, made from small plaques containing the initials of members’ names, was awarded to Sue Brown after a free raffle draw.

Probus Club of Stourbridge

THE March lunch meeting of the Probus Club of Stourbridge was held on Tuesday 17 March at Stourbridge Rugby Club. Members continue to enjoy and appreciate this new venue while in exile from The Talbot.

THE March WI meeting was held on the third Wednesday of the month. Many events are taking place very soon. Starting with a group meeting on the evening of March 31 and the Worcestershire Council Meeting in Malvern in the day, when four of our members will be attending.
