NOTICE boards have been erected and repaired in rural communities in the Bewdley area as part of a joint venture between the police and parish councils.
The police have funded the purchase of new boards in Shatterford and replacements in Upper Arley and Rock and repairs to another board in Shatterford.
Sgt Chris Aimes, of Bewdley and Rural local policing team, said:"The boards carry contact details for the local policing team and parish councils, details of forthcoming PACT meetings and relevant crime prevention posters and we hope residents will find them useful."
Glynne Lilley, chairman of Upper Arley Parish Council, said: "The support we receive from West Mercia Constabulary has been excellent and we are pleased they have co-funded the purchase of new noticeboards."
