YOUNGSTERS enjoyed a taste of French culture this week.
Pupils from years three and four at Malvern Parish Primary took part in activities including role-play in French, music and designing their own menus, which included several innovative recipes for sandwiches.
Pupil Lee Woolley, aged eight, said the best part of the day was “getting to taste all the new food which I’ve never had before”.
The food was provided by one of the pupils’ parents who works at Waitrose and consisted of various cheeses, baguettes and pastries. The event was organised by teachers as a culmination of the pupils’ French lessons this year. The children had a taste of French life, as well as learning about the Euro.
