I JUST had to write to vent my feelings at the latest council announcement they are having to make further millions of pounds worth of cuts in the coming months at the cost to the taxpayers.
I’m dismayed at services in the borough that are being stopped and a feeling of well being for the Dudley people put a low priority!
It was only weeks ago that an increase in salary for the Dudley councillors had been approved by one percent in this time of austerity I can’t believe how they can let this go ahead!
Are they so out of touch with the real feeling of people having to endure pay freezes and pay cuts that they insult them with lining their own pockets?
Surely jobs on the council should be a labour of love and not for profit. To many councillors, this is a second job.
