STUART Fox obviously didn't put his bins out correctly which made him take offence and feel the need to launch a personal attack on what was a mere general observation.

He evidently hasn’t read the information book which tells you how to put out the rubbish correctly – perhaps he’s too busy insulting people to bother.

The whole point of the letter was to highlight the fact that people do not read the information they are given which inadvertently makes the job more difficult for the waste collectors.

Perhaps we should disregard all the rules Stuart – mix up our recycling, put extra bags on the side make the collectors job as difficult as we can.

Things that you find insignificant show your disregard for the people who have to actually deal with your rubbish.
