TO all consituents of Margot James and Chis Kelly, are you aware that these two MPs voted for the “Gagging Bill” that reduces the rights of campaigners such as 38 degrees, Unlock Democracy and many of the major charities such as the British Legion and forbids them from making campaigns against Government changes in the year running up to a General Election?
Yet this Bill does nothing to prevent the existing lobbyists, who use their finances to influence Government policies, a thing that even David Cameron said prior to his election was the “next scandal waiting to happen”.
If it is true what they say, that “we are all in it together”, then why are they campaigning to remove the effective voice of the electorate with this unfair Bill that is stopping genuine campaigners from doing what their MPs should be doing, truly representing their constituents.
